The two day tour for Carlstedt ark. (64 PAX) was kicked off by a private boat tour along Copenhagen’s canal. In the afternoon we walked the harbor circle in groups. The second day started at our own Bloxhub, where Bo gave the lecture Copenhagen as eco-metropole, and finished in Ørestad.

The metro is a modern way of transport, which has changed the city of Copenhagen since its opening. With its seventeen new stations the Metro will tie the city even closer together. The stations have a different design, but maintain one same ambition. They aim to get as much daylight in as possible (hence the triangular skylights). In the meantime the construction works on the fourth Metroline continue.

The Swedish office Archus brought 50 architects and landscape architects to Copenhagen to enjoy an extended biketour around the city. They split up in three groups so each group could focus on their designated topic: housing and schools, offices and trade or landscape. Coming from the triangle Stockholm – Uppsala – Västerås they brought very diverging examples of architecture and city-making....

During this two day session the 34 Swiss students from the Bildungsdepartement Gewerbliches Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum St. Gallen had the opportunity to fully explore both sides of the Sound.
